North Bay

Your Bay. Your Tides. Your Call.

North Bay's this coastal strategy game that's all about taking your time - the ocean basically runs the show, and everything you do changes how your little dock community grows.

About

We made North Bay for folks who'd rather plan things out than just button-mash their way through. Set along a fictional stretch of Pacific Northwest coastline, the game rewards patience, planning, and a genuine fondness for the smell of salt air — even imagined. Every time you start over, you get a completely different bay - different layout, different weather patterns, the whole nine yards.

How It Works

Claim Your Cove

Choose your starting inlet from a procedurally generated coastline map — each with different resource access, dock space, and exposure to weather.

Work the Tides

Low tide opens the flats for harvesting; high tide brings merchant ships and trade opportunities — your schedule is the sea's schedule.

Weather Every Season

Expand, stockpile, and reinforce before the autumn storms roll in — then rebuild smarter when they pass.

Features

Tide-Locked Gameplay

Everything happens based on the tides - you can either time your play sessions around them, or just let things sit there until you're ready. No rush.

Hand-Drawn Bay Maps

All the coastline stuff is hand-painted with watercolors and ink - each bay ends up looking totally unique.

Captain Negotiations

The ship captains all have their own personalities and weird habits - treat them right and they'll keep coming back, but if you're too pushy about prices, they might just sail on by next time.

Storm Season Events

The storms aren't there to screw you over - they're more like story moments that put your planning to the test and give you ideas for what to build next.
